Description
Suffolk Coast and Heaths Workshop – Sunday 15th August 2021 9am – 4pm
Join me for a days photography tuition exploring the beautiful and varied locations of Walberswick and Westleton Heath.
About
My Suffolk Coast and Heaths workshop explores 2 of the most iconic landscapes of this region; the coast at Walberswick and part of the Sandlings Heathland at Westleton. Suffolk is famed for its beautiful coastline and for its Sandlings Heath which once covered much of the coastal region of the county. The workshop will start at Walberswick where we will spend some time exploring the area around the River Blyth, with its iconic black fishing huts and its fantastic views across the river to Southwold. We will cover camera settings and learn how to get off automatic mode. We will look at composition and the various rules that can be used when putting an image together and will look at the wider landscape as well as all the smaller details that make this area such a varied location for photography. After a break for lunch we will head inland to photograph the beautiful landscape of Westleton Heath which should be in full bloom. This area has some lovely varied habitats which we will explore photographing the widened landscape as well as some of the flora in closer detail.
