Description
Slaughden – Cameras, Cakes and Coffee
26th September 9am – 11am plus coffee time afterwards
Join me for a fun walk with the camera exploring the coastal location of Slaughden.
This is a 2 hour walk, which takes the form of a scavenger hunt. It is suitable for any camera type even a phone camera and is essentially about observation, learning to ‘see’ the environment and having a bit of fun with creativity.
Each participant will be given 8 – 10 items or words to find and photograph. These will be deliberately vague to encourage creativity and to ensure that there is more than one option for a photograph. There will be an additional competitive challenge, with the most creative entry winning a £10 voucher off any product / workshop on my website.
At the end of the walk there will be complimentary coffee / tea (freshly brewed from our camper van), home made cake and a chance to chat about photography with the other participants.
Slaughden is located on the River Alde just outside Aldeburgh. It has a variety of locations good for photography including the river with its large areas of salt marsh and adjacent sailing club, a Martello tower, and a coastline with plenty of rocks and groynes.
