Description
River Deben Workshop
Saturday 13th November 2021 6.30am – 1pm
Join me for 6.5 hours of photography tuition exploring the beautiful and varied landscapes of the River Deben
About
The River Deben has some of the most beautiful scenery in Suffolk and on this workshop I will guide you around some of my favourite locations along its banks.
We will start the day in Woodbridge with a sunrise (hopefully) over the Tide Mill. We will also be looking at composition and ‘seeing’ an image. We will then capture the tranquil riverside setting of Ramsholt before finishing at Bawdsey quay with some long exposure photography.
What’s included
The River Deben Workshop includes:
6.5 hours of tuition. The maximum group size is 4 people
A full set of printed course notes to take home
Email critique of images after the session.
Workshop Requirements
For this workshop you will need a DSLR or bridge camera and a suitable lens for landscape photography. You will need to have a basic understanding of your camera controls.
If you would like to practice long exposure photography you will need a tripod, a filter holder, adaptor ring, ND filter and a remote shutter release.
I have some Lee Filters and filter holders which are available for use during the workshop – if you would like to borrow these please ask at the time of booking.
Photographic workshops make ideal gifts. If you would like to purchase a workshop as a gift please contact me and I will send you a free gift card with your order.
All my workshops explore areas that are covered in my book Photographing the Suffolk Coast
