Description
Hollesley Common – Connections Workshop
Saturday 29th April 8am – 11am with an optional Zoom session on Thursday 4th May at 7pm
Develop your connection with the landscape and the natural world through photography.
Join me for a fun morning of photography exploring the beautiful heathland and woodland area around Lower Hollesley Common. This is an area of Suffolk Sandlings which is beautiful in Spring and covered in gorse. Using a series of fun photographic exercises we will try to build a greater connection with the landscape. We will look at the natural beauty of the area, the heathland, woodland and their associated plants. We will explore textures, close up shots and the changing of the seasons.
During the course of the workshop I will set you 4 challenges which I hope will make you think more deeply about the area you are photographing and will give you some ideas to carry forward for your next photographic outing.
After the workshop there will be a 1 hour zoom session on Thursday 4th May at 7pm which will allow us to discuss the challenges and share our images from the session. This is completely optional but clients usually find these sessions really helpful.
If you love Suffolk, love photography then you will love getting to know this landscape a little better.
