Description
Friday Photo walk – Woodland Storytelling at Staverton Thicks
Friday 26th May 9.30am – 11.30am
Friday Walk and Talk Photography Challenges
Join me for a new series of photo walks each with a separate theme. The idea is to create a friendly community of photographers who meet once or twice a month in a different location for a walk, a chat and a photography challenge. You can come on as many or as few walks as you wish – there is no obligation to come to every event.
I will set you a challenge and will provide some notes to help you with this challenge. You will receive these before the walk. During the walk I will be on hand to give advice and help with any questions you may have.
May’s walk is all about woodland storytelling at Staverton Thicks. This is a fascinating area of ancient woodland where ancient oaks stand side by side with some of the tallest holly trees in Britain. It is an area that invites storytelling. I will send you some notes before the walk which will give you an idea for how to create photographic stories. The challenge will be to create a panel of 9 images that tells your story of this ancient oak woodland.
