Felixstowe Seascapes Long Exposure Workshop
Thursday 16th March 12 Midday to Sunset (18.00)
Join me for a photography workshop in Felixstowe where we will explore movement and long exposure in seascape and coastal photography. We will be exploring creative effects using movement in the environment and movement of the camera itself. We will practice blurring elements using long exposures, using ICM to create painterly seascape images and playing with movement to capture people in the landscape.
The workshop will be split between Landguard Point, Felixstowe Seafront and Cobbolds Point for a sunset.
A 1 hour Zoom session is include in the workshop and this will take place on Thursday 23rd March at 7pm. The Zoom session is entirely optional but you will get more from the session if you attend.
We will cover:
Long exposure photography
Shorter exposures of about 1 second
Intentional camera movement
Sunset and long exposure photography at Cobbolds Point.
The workshop includes:
A full set of course notes sent via email before the workshop
6 hours of tuition in three locations around Felixstowe
The option to borrow a tripod and filters if required
20% off a half day processing workshop in my Hollesley Studio if you would like to learn more about processing your seascape images in Lightroom.
This is a ‘Discover More’ Photography Session and is suitable for anyone who has been taking photos for a while and who knows their way around their camera controls and settings. You will need a tripod, and filters including a 6 stop or 10 stop ND filter.
