Friday Evening Photo walk – F2.8 or widest aperture 

Photography Challenge at Sizewell Beach – Friday 9th August 6.30pm – 8.30pm

Join me for August’s Photo Challenge which is all about shooting with a shallow depth of field. During this walk you will be asked to take photos at your lenses widest aperture. You will be looking at creating landscape and detail images where only part of the scene is in sharp focus.

At the end of the walk you are invited to share your images on my Facebook Page – Photographing Suffolk. I will choose the image I like best from those submitted and the winner will receive an A3 fine art print of their photograph.

You can use whatever lens you wish for this walk. My favourite for this exercise is a telephoto 70-200mm but you could use a wider angle or even a macro. The idea is to think creatively about your image composition using a shallow depth of field.
