Description
Bawdsey Quay – Long exposure and sunset workshop
Friday 21st July 6.30pm – 9pm
Thursday 27th 7pm – 8.30pm Zoom session
This summer I will be running some short technical workshops which consist of 2 – 2.5 hours in the field followed by a 1.5 – 2 hour Zoom session where we will discuss our images and our post processing. Each workshop will consist of 2 – 4 challenges which you will undertake in the field with my assistance. You will then have a few days to process your images before we get together the following Thursday evening to discuss them.
The workshops will consist of small groups of 5 and the aim is to help you improve your technical ability in a friendly atmosphere.
This workshop at Bawdsey will consist of the following challenges:
Long exposure working with different shutter speeds – we will be looking at minimalistic shots with milky seas and more textured shots capturing the movement of the water.
Capturing a sunset. Weather permitting we will be learning how to best capture sunset colours looking across the River Deben.
Filters for both these challenges will be available to borrow – please request this at the time of booking.
This workshop is suitable for those who have some photography experience and are familiar with their camera controls. You will need a tripod and a remote timer and filters if you have them (if not I have a range of Lee filters that you are welcome to borrow – (please ask when booking)
What is included:
