Aldeburgh Sunrise and Composition Challenge

Saturday 1st February 7am – 9.30am plus a 1 hour zoom session on Thursday 6th February to discuss everyone’s images. 5 places available

Join me for a new series of ‘Challenge’ workshops. These sessions feature a challenge and an image discussion a few days later over Zoom. The workshop is designed to be fun and non competitive and the idea is to learn about sunrise photography and composition in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

The workshop will begin with a sunrise at the Scallop Shell on Aldeburgh beach. From here we will walk along the beach towards the town to create some images with the fishing boats and other elements on the beach.

The challenge will be to produce one sunrise image and one image that uses either leading lines, patterns or symmetry for its composition.

As part of the workshop you will receive some notes and a copy of my Composition Workbook before the session.

You will need your camera and tripod if you have one. Some filters might be useful for sunrise but are not essential.
