Description
Shingle Street – Connections Workshop
Saturday 27th May 8am – 11am with an optional Zoom session on Thursday 1st June at 7pm
Develop your connection with the landscape and the natural world through photography.
Join me for a fun morning of photography exploring the beautiful beach at Shingle Street. This is a popular location for landscape photography but how well do we all really know it? Using a series of fun photographic exercises we will try to build a greater connection with the landscape. We will look at the wild beauty of the area, the sea, the shell line and the plants that grown on the beach.
During the course of the workshop I will set you 4 challenges which I hope will make you think more deeply about the area you are photographing and will give you some ideas to carry forward for your next photographic outing.
After the workshop there will be a 1 hour zoom session on Thursday 1st June at 7pm which will allow us to discuss the challenges and share our images from the session. This is completely optional but clients usually find these sessions really helpful.
Shingle Street is my local landscape and is somewhere I love. It is a landscape I feel a great affinity for and a real connection with, which has grown from spending hours here with and without my camera.
If you love Suffolk, love photography then you will love getting to know this landscape a little better.
What is included:
3 hours of tuition at Shingle Street which will include 4 challenges to undertake during the session.

A 1 hour Zoom session to discuss the challenges and images from the workshop.
