Shoot for the Moon Vol 3

Welcome to Shoot for the Moon Vol 3, the new landscape photography journal from Gill Moon. A monthly bulletin full of hints and tips to inspire your photography. March’s edition is all about composition, classic landscape views and more creative intimate landscapes.

Over the coming months I will be covering all sorts of topics related to outdoor photography which I hope will inspire you to get out with your camera. Each volume will have a monthly theme and a corresponding photography challenge. The challenges are intended as a little bit of inspiration to give you a photographic focus for the month. Hopefully they will be fun and will make you think and also give you a good excuse to get out with your camera.

In Shoot for the Moon Vol 3 I will look at location, composition and things to try to capture that classic landscape view. I will also look reasons why you should turn away from the obvious view and look for something more creative that may not have been captured before.
