Welcome to Shoot for the Moon Vol 2, the new landscape photography journal from Gill Moon. A monthly bulletin full of hints and tips to inspire your photography. February’s edition is all about seascapes and the techniques used to capture them.
Over the coming months I will be covering all sorts of topics related to outdoor photography which I hope will inspire you to get out with your camera. Each volume will have a monthly theme and a corresponding photography challenge. The challenges are intended as a little bit of inspiration to give you a photographic focus for the month. Hopefully they will be fun and will make you think and also give you a good excuse to get out with your camera.
In Shoot for the Moon Vol 2 I will look at various aspects of coastal photography including composition of wider scenes as well as more intimate shots, creative techniques including long exposures and ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) and post processing. I will also look at some other photographers who have inspired me with their seascape and marine photography.
